TWO MAZES

PLEASE NOTE:
MAZES CLOSED UNTIL SUMMER SEASON

the main maze
This year, we are celebrating the majestic beauty of the Osprey, which is a frequent visitor to the the Blyth estuary, often seen hunting the waters for a fish supper!

We are featuring birds of prey this year, and each of the stamp points (yes, the stampers are back in the main maze by popular request) will feature a different bird of prey, which are often seen flying over our beautiful farm here on our special part of the Suffolk coast.
The maize crop is growing fantastically well with all the recent rain and warmth, so we hope it will be super tall this year when we open on 22nd July!

We're looking forward to sharing lots of fun, laughter and happy days with you all - tickets are best bought online for best prices, but you can also turn up on the day:

THE mini MAZE
Specially designed for the littler ones but a further challenge in its own right - the MINI MAZE offers a fun and exciting extra maze adventure - ‘spot the spots’. Find the 7 boards - each with a colour of the rainbow & stick the corresponding stickers on to the leaflet provided at admissions.
Southwold Maize Maze was voted runner up at the Maize Maze awards in Britain 2017 following up winning the prize in 2015.
We are also extremely proud and honoured to be the winners of the Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2019 for BEST SMALL VISITOR ATTRACTION

all EQUIPMENT included in the price
All equipment in the play park is included in the entrance price. Your ticket includes unlimited* access to: 2 mazes, 3 bouncy pillows, pedal go karts, double zip line, 2 climbing towers, 2 giant sand-pits, cradle nest swing and pedal cars and ride ons.

* in busy times we may need to organise a rotational system for some activities to ensure everyone has a fair turn.

SUSTAINING OUR ENVIRONMENT

The two fields adjacent to the maize maze and visible from the bridge, are part of our stewardship scheme to maintain and provide habitat for all wild birds and insects.
Sown with a pollen and nectar seed mix and a wild bird seed mix, they offer a diverse habitat for our local little friends.

WILD BIRD WALKS

Old Hall Café & Walks opened in March 2019. The dog friendly walks start at the corner of the play area and meander down to the River Blyth, taking in the beautiful Henreed Beds.

We are privileged to be working alongside Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Natural England to provide access to some of England's most picturesque wild environments.

Old Hall Café & Walks lies on the southern edge of the play area and has gorgeous views over the wilderness of the Reydon marshes - it is an idyllic spot to enjoy a leisurely meal whilst soaking up the natural scenery.

The new building offers uninterrupted, magnificent marsh views through floor to ceiling glass. The two dog friendly walking trails around this truly tranquil part of Suffolk are perfect for families.
